However, FEKOR can also reassess the situation in the event of changes. If there are changes in the course of the week that require a rescheduling, the planning is optimized with FEKOR. Such events are, for example, new orders that have to be processed at short notice or the extension of existing orders. With FEKOR these unforeseen influences are quickly compensated. The changes are made by moving the bars for the individual orders at the FEKOR control station with the mouse. FEKOR then not only displays the new planning for the respective order, but also immediately the consequences it has for other orders. Moving an order can, for example, mean that another order cannot be completed on time. The system can calculate these consequences immediately.
FEKOR works so fast that the optimization can be carried out several times a day, because an optimization run only takes a few minutes. Even planning for 120 days into the future only takes about 10 minutes.
